Job Description:
Assists Project Manager in the planning, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of designated facilities management projects, primarily related to DOE Real Property Asset Management, including condition assessments and data validation within the Facilities Information Management Systems (FIMS) database. Assists in monitoring the activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Primary responsibilities:
-Conduct energy audits by collecting and verifying relevant data to be used in drawing conclusions; involves estimations, engineering calculations and interpolating raw data.
-Perform asset Condition Assessment Surveys: Assess DOE Assets, compile data into report format and estimate cost associated with deferred and deficient items using RSMeans or equivalent cost estimating software.
-Develop supporting data in the form of tables, charts and spreadsheets for use in technical reports.
-Analyze data for energy conservation measures recommendations.
-Provide basis for funding requests for deferred maintenance and other construction needs.
-Manage raw data files and make accessible for others.
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related technical field, plus five years of project management and/or construction management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to obtain DoD/DoE clearance.
