Job Title: Sr. Process Automation Engineer : WinCCReports To: Process Engineering ManagerLocation: Portland, ORIndustry: Steel ManufacturingCompany Overview:The company manufactures steel plate, rail, pipe, wire rod, and rebar, and pipe for the municipal, industrial, and commercial construction industries, internationally.Job Duties:Finding innovative solutions to manufacturing problems.Working with production and maintenance to identify and resolve potential areas of improvement.Providing assistance to the operations in adapting the scheduling algorithms to produce prime quality plate.Maintaining the related computer systems.Process modeling, finite element methods, and computational mathematics.Learn, retain, and apply new knowledge from technical manuals.Follow standards in automation and control software discipline.
