Description:
VTC Operations Lead Description SAIC has a need for a VTC Operations Lead to support in:house video conferencing technologies at a major customer location. The position will work on the following activities:
: The Operations Lead shall be responsible for the day:to:day operations. Responsibilities typically include assignment and reassignment of Contractor staff as appropriate in CA and NM, and scheduling of Contractor staff work. The Operations Lead will be able to troubleshoot videoconference setup problems, answer the help line and perform scheduling duties and bridge support on an as: needed basis. Videoconference Bridge support will involve the setup and troubleshooting of onsite bridge calls as needed. In addition, they will also be responsible booking and setting videoconference bridge services when the customer requires an off:site bridge
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
: High school education or equivalent and 2 years technical training and 2 years relevant experience or 4 years relevant experience
: A minimum of five years' experience in videoconference system support with an emphasis on audio and videoconferencing in a multi:vendor environment or five years experience as a technical support lead person in a large, highly technical environment; or a combination of both positions for a total of five years.
: Must have excellent customer service skills.
: Must have excellent verbal (including telephone) and written communications skills.
: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members and independently with minimal supervision
: Must be able to lift and move at least 25 pounds of electronic equipment
: Must have experience with Polycom and Tandberg codecs
: Must have a current Certified Technologist Specialist (CTS) certification
: Candidate must have an active DOE Q clearance.
