USA Pain Clinics is a growing pain management clinic in Rio Rancho, NM. With two MD's and three mid-levels, we are one of the largest and fastest growing pain clinics in the Albuquerque Metro area. We provide strong clinical support to our providers to allow them to see patients efficiently. Our EHR system has many established templates for ease of charting. We treat patients and staff with respect and professionalism. We understand the issues that accompany opiate prescribing and work diligently to be part of the solution.
Job Description
Work Conditions - Interaction and coordination of efforts with other employees and physicians in a fast-paced
medical office environment.
Summary - Promote the well-being of the patients at USA Pain by considering all aspects of patient care
which encompasses the patient’s physical, psychological, spiritual, social and educational
needs.
Minimum Requirements
• Ability to be congenial, calm and effective under pressure
• Ability to deal effectively with angry and upset patients
• Ability to deal effectively with and resolve conflict situations
• Proven experience managing clinical staff in an office setting
• Ability to communicate and interact diplomatically and politely with patients, the public
and co-workers
• Ability to use general office equipment such as, personal computer, telephone, fax and
copier
• Ability to read and follow written or verbal instructions
• Three to five years medical office experience. Minimum 2 years prior supervisory/
management experience
• LPN License in the State of New Mexico
• Current CPR certification
Essential Job Duties
• Staff Supervision and Management
o Ensure Medical Assistants are performing required tasks
o Monitor and adjust MA schedules as needed minimizing overtime and ensuring
proper coverage
o Provide feedback to Practice Manager regarding staff and departmental
performance
o Provide input for clinical staff performance evaluations and wage increases
o Ensure MA’s are working for assigned provider
o Enforce USA Pain Clinic policies in the Clinical Department
o Train all clinical staff or ensure proper training is completed by another MA
