As aClient Service and Project Managerfor our Federal clients you will serve as the primary contact with a client to ensure that CH2M HILL has a sustained relationship with the client, achieves complete client satisfaction with our work, and fully leverages our relationship to benefit the client and the firm. The Client Service and Project Manager's focus is to ensure that CH2M HILL is the client's consultant-of-choice, that we have a thorough understanding of the client's consulting needs and are seen as their best advocate for accomplishing their goals. This position will be responsible for contributing to the pursuit, capture, management and execution of general compliance, air quality, environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance, compliance auditing (ESOHCAMP), and natural and cultural resource projects focused on the Federal clients located primarily in the Southwest. Client base includes DoD, DoE, and other Federal clients requiring these services. The primary focus of this position is develop Federal client accounts in the states of New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, and west Texas to develop project opportunities and support the execution and follow-on client management for our Environmental Services Business Group.. OurClient Service and Project Managers: * Work with existing client base to identify opportunities and develop task orders for environmental, health and safety services. * Manage the delivery of projects involving permit strategy development, compliance assurance strategies, and design of associated work processes. * Leverage relationships with existing clients to expand our service offerings while continuing to grow new, productive relationships. * Technical background in EHS service area, including air quality, auditing and compliance, environmental management systems, EHS, and/or natural resource program implementation. * Network within industry organizations, technical seminars, and trade shows, including the delivery of technical presentations. * Manage project teams to deliver environmental services to our Federal, particularly DoD clients. * Lead and support development of environmental management plans and permits. Interpret environmental regulations affecting the industry and translate applicable requirements into strategic, cost-effective compliance approaches. * Develop internal relationships to support the overall growth and success of CH2M HILL Environmental Services Business Group, mentor mid-level staff, and steward client satisfaction.Additional information: Business travel to client sites and offices for meetings will be required for this role. * 12 or more years environmental program management experience and background with Federal clients including the Department of Defense (in particular the Air Force, Air National Guard, and Army), DoE, and other Federal agencies. * Must have the ability to be responsible for several Federal clients with the potential to represent the services identified earlier. * Will both manage and provide technical oversight for various projects developed for these clients; PM experience in consulting in this industry is a necessity. * US citizenship is required in order to work onsite for our Federal clients. * BS in Engineering and/or Environmental Sciences including, but not limited to, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or Environmental Science. * 15 or more years environmental program management experience and background with Federal clients including but not limited to the Department of Defense (particularly the Air Force, Air National Guard, and Army), DoE, and other Federal Agencies in the referenced states. * Professional Registration * MS in Engineering and Sciences including, but not limited to, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or Environmental Science.
