Accounting Manager for a well established Government Contractor - (Albuquerque) in Albuquerque, New Mexico For Sale

Parker + Lynch has an immediate need for an Accounting Manager. This role is for a permanent placement with one of our clients in the Albuquerque area. The company has a strong history providing support to the government. Government contract accounting knowledge is key to a successful candidate. This role will report directly to the Vice President. The ideal candidate will have experience with Deltek Costpoint. This individual will be responsible for the following; Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization Supervise accounting staff; AP, AR, payroll and banking responsibilities Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts Prepare Sales and Use Tax returns Maintain detailed Fixed Asset lists ADHOC Financial Reports to Government Customers Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Knowledge of Contract Funding and Value Ceilings Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company Report preparation and presentation Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions Ability to work and interact with department throughout the organization Strong professional demeanor with staff, clients and co-workers Ad hoc tasks as needed Requirements: 7+ years directly related experience Deltek (Cost point) experience required BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required MBA/MACCT/CPA a nice plus New Mexico candidates only please Please submit a copy of your Word resume to [Click Here to Email Your Resume] for immediate consideration.
