This role is responsible for all areas relating to accounting close, financial reporting, and managing accounting staff. This highly visible role will report up to the CFO and be a key decision maker regarding accounting issues. Role Responsibilities Include: Maintain and optimize financial reporting and general ledger structure Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information Supports budget and forecasting activities including budget to actual and variance analysis Performs and reports on inventory audits Run point with outside CPA firm during the audit process Work with each direct report to establish performance goals and evaluate progress Requirements Include: Bachelors’ Degree with focus in Accounting, CPA Preferred Strong Excel skills Experience with larger ERP system Five to seven years prior supervisory experience in the general ledger area.
