Vein Specialists of America – Albuquerque, NM
&#xxxxx;Part-Time 3 Days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Vein Specialists of America is a Phlebology-specific physician practice management and advisory consulting firm. We focus on implementation management and results-oriented consulting, which enables us to help our clients realize the true strategic and operational potential of the medical practices they own and operate. On behalf of a local client VSA will be screening applicants for this position.
The Clinical Liaison position will educate physicians regarding the various treatment options available for venous disease offered by our client. Our goal is to grow our client’s referral base and to further develop physician-to-physician relationships with existing referral physicians. This position will require comprehensive clinical knowledge of the different services that our client offers and the ability to effectively communicate that knowledge to physician group practices.
Key Responsibilities:&#xxxxx;
-Identify physician referral opportunities within the local medical community through research and prospecting&#xxxxx;
-Generate networking opportunities by calling on physician offices and healthcare organizations&#xxxxx;
-Follow a plan of action for achieving targeted # of introductions / contacts&#xxxxx;
-Implement and build upon clinic referral strategies and programs, utilize creativity to identify and develop other promotional opportunities/initiatives&#xxxxx;
-Follow-up with physicians to gather feedback and questions&#xxxxx;
-Serve as a liaison between existing/potential referral sources and our client, develop and maintain a strong partnership with our client’s staff
-Network and partner with local businesses as well as community groups to position our client as the first choice in treatment of Venous Disease for staff and members of the community
Job Requirements:&#xxxxx;
-B.A./B.S. Required&#xxxxx;
-3-5 Years Pharmaceutical/Medical Device Sales Required&#xxxxx;
-Ability to clearly and effectively communicate clinical information to healthcare providers as well as develop and maintain positive communication with Vein Specialists of America’s staff (i.e. Physicians, Practice Managers, Director of Marketing Relationships, Nurses)&#xxxxx;
-Strong interpersonal skills. The ability to develop and maintain a strong, trusting relationship with Vein Specialists of America’s staff, and current / potential referral relationships&#xxxxx;
-Strong organizational skills. The willingness and ability to maintain accurate and detailed records of appointments, sales calls, and follow-up
&#xxxxx;-Time management skills. The ability to set priorities and establish a workflow to accomplish day-to-day tasks in a timely manner&#xxxxx;
-Local travel; occasional overnight travel will be required
