(NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, has an immediate opening for an Engineering Document Controller at its facility located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.The Engineering Document Controller is a vital role in the effort to ensure that our documentation is sufficient for manufacturing and ISO audits. The position requires coordination between the various departments at the Albuquerque, NM facility.The candidate will receive in-house training on current processes as well as any other necessary training from different corporate location representatives in the same role. The chosen candidate must be comfortable with SAP, database and other MS Office programs. Evaluation of past and current documentation along with the revision and creation of future documentation is a key function of this position. The candidate will be responsible for conducting daily meetings to facilitate the processing of different necessary change requests.Accountabilities: Participate in Air Products Basic Safety Program to drive safety performance to zero incidents. Control documentation and assist with collection of site metrics (Doc control, ECR/ECT, MOC, Training, Notifications, etc) for the Albuquerque PolyFlow facility. Maintain controlled copies of shop floor (manufacturing) documentation and other documents in alignment with regulatory, company and legal requirements. Execute, coordinate, manage, review and facilitate the necessary changes for EMOCs Ensure and monitor training notifications are sent according to MOC requirements. Review and direct changes for engineering documentation support with audit requirements. Prepare and approve document changes to ensure correct formatting, spelling, grammar, and revision are released for global and local manufacturing use. Work closely with engineering to process documentation for manufacturing purposes. Oversee and maintain the document repository and delivery systems within the management system and tracks documents throughout their life cycle. Process orders for production in a timely manner with the correct documentation. Maintain Share Site Document libraries and perform internal process audits.REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years Document Controller experience with Associates or Bachelors degree; Bachelors is preferred Experience in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with MS Office programs such as Excel, Word and Database as well as SAP Experience with Document Control and Management of Change (ISO xxxx) required.
