Our Water technology business, formed in xxxx is focused on developing advanced technologies to treat problem contaminants and bacteria in industrial water stream To manage the accounting function for the MIOX Albuquerque site to include producing timely and applicable financial information for management together with the development and maintenance of a robust control environment. Key responsibilities: Work in partnership with other managers and executives to meet revenue, margin and profit goals Assist general manager in forecasting process using multiple inputs and data sources Assist move to leasing and rental business models in select markets Review purchase orders and other contracts with the help of Group legal Develop and update financial dashboard for critical financial operating parameters Administer, manage and direct the activities of subordinates to ensure accurate and timely financial data Develop, implement and maintain a robust control environment Provide relevant and timely management information to both local and global management Provide finance support to local management with respect to day-to-day activities including monitoring of business performance and investment proposals Manage the Accounts Payable and the Accounts Receivable functions Ensure ledgers are closed off and reconciled in a timely and accurate manner to facilitate month end reporting Ensure process are place to enable the site to meet all group reporting requirements including MORs, FA, tax, budget packs and other ad hoc requests as maybe required Interface with other departments within the organization to facilitate compliance with group financial policies and procedures In conjunction with Water Business Finance Controller provide budget and forecast financial information Provide accurate and timely product costing information. Highlight areas where improvements can be made and bring added value wherever possible. Any other ad-hoc duties and projects Are you the ideal candidate? Educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance or related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification Demonstrable previous experience in a similar or related role Working experience with accounting systems including reporting Efficiency and results orientation
