We are looking for an experienced ghostwriter to help with the memoir of one of the first women in the army during WWII.
Skills/Experience Desired:
Memoir writing, some knowledge of historical context, ability to create structure and compelling story line from integrating an existing rough draft, letters home, and interviewing subject. Editing and possibly providing advice on self-publishing.
Expectations:
We would like to work with a writer who is interested in the topic/time frame, has a sensitivity to women's issues during the xxxxs (specifically as it relates to the military), can help bring the best details forward through curiosity and asking insightful questions. Ability to meet face-to-face in the Los Angeles-area is ideal but not required.
