Job Description:
Compass Group, the worlds leading contract foodservice company, has a Great Opportunity for career development and growth as a Corporate HR Generalist for Chartwells, our Higher Education Division.
As HR Generalist, successful candidate will provide support to the university of Human Resources interacting with numerous Human Resource functions to meet strategic, tactical and administrative Human Resource objectives. The candidates knowledge of employee relations and strong analytical ability should be used to support HR initiatives. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively Management across various support departments.
Responsibilities:
:Handle complaints, resolve issues, improve processes.
:Analyze labor turnover data.
:Manage exit survey process, review responses.
:Assist with sector compensation/talent management collection and analysis.
:Develop presentations
:Monitor HR budget/expenses.
:Process on:line selection assessments.
:Perform administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
:Must have worked in fast:paced, very flexible environment, where phone calls are never ending, e:mails are frequent, and organizational skills are a must
:Bachelors degree in Human Resources, related field or equivalent related experience.
:PHR or SPHR certification a plus.
:Two + years experience as HR representative/generalist.
:Working knowledge of employment law.
:Strong computer skills including MS office, SAP, web based research.
:Experienced in scheduling activities or duties, coordinating activities, handling complaints and resolving issues.
:Experience in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions.
:Bilingual Spanish:English a plus.
:Content:knowledge regarding employment law, policies, procedures and programs.
:Strong organizational, problem:solving, analytical and mathematical skills.
:Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
:Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
:Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
