JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Instructor must provide short: notice, tailored training and education to DTRA's customers and be an advocate for DTRA's capabilities. The Instructor will deliver lectures, seminars, discussion sessions, tabletop exercises and hands:on training on a broad range of WMD topics, including strategic, operational, tactical, and technical aspects of nuclear weapons, the US Strategic deterrent, WMD proliferation, and counter proliferation, WMD response and consequence management. They will perform research and analysis to develop technical briefings and informational papers on current terrorism and WMD threats, including presentations to the Congressional staff and national security organizations. They will provide tours of the DNWS' Nuclear Weapons Instructional Museum (NWIM) at the Secret//Restricted Data (S//RD) and Secret//Critical Nuclear Weapons Design information (S//CNWDI) level, develop technical briefings, information papers and PowerPoint presentations for branch courses. They will travel, as required and lastly develop and produce movie clips showing nuclear weapon operations and activities in a variety of military career fields, in a variety of formats.
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelors Degree plus a minimum of 3 years related experience. The Instructor candidate must have a demonstrated knowledge and experience in the WMD field to include, but not limited to, strategic, operational, tactical, and technical aspects of nuclear weapons; the US Strategic deterrent, WMD proliferation and counter:proliferation; WMD response and consequence management. They must have experience in the classroom to include Mobile Training Teams (MTT) and distance learning. Lastly they must have demonstrated experience developing videos and incorporating clips from motion pictures into training presentation/videos.
US Citizenship and active Secret Clearance required.
