The Plant Controller : Endomech and Energy will help develop and drive both the short:and long:term strategies for the Albuquerque packaging and sterilization manufacturing facility. He/she will have significant project responsibilities, including cost improvement initiatives, capital investment decisions, and asset reconfiguration activities. Additionally, he/she will also be responsible for designing and implementing improved reporting that provide operations partners with actionable information. He/she will also will report to the Senior Plant Controller based in Juarez and will provide leadership for (2) direct reports.
He/she will oversee all aspects of cost accounting and compliance for the Albuquerque manufacturing for Endomech/Energy to include budgeting, volume forecasting, standard cost development and ad:hoc analysis as needed. He/she will oversee all aspects of Capital Appropriation analysis, approval and reporting for the site. He/she will also analyze all capital acquisitions in accordance with J and J WWP and US GAAP including understanding of impact of investments on cash flow. Additionally, he/she will conduct Balance sheet accounting, Inventory Controls, and Headcount reporting as well as be a member of the Manufacturing site Leadership team and have daily direct interactions with Plant Managers, Director Technical Operations, Director LEAN and other key plant functions.
Qualifications
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other business related discipline is required. Prior leadership experience is preferred. An MBA/CMA/CPA is preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in financial operations is required. Experience supporting a manufacturing plant is preferred. Strong analytical, financial modeling and cost accounting knowledge is required. Proven ability to influence key stakeholders and challenge the status quo while operating with an enterprise mindset is required. Knowledge of Sarbanes:Oxley (SOX) requirements preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint, Outlook) is required. Proven track record of influencing/leading peers and business partners and interacting with Sr. Management is required. Strong communication, project management, presentation and framing skills is required. Ability to make independent decisions and manage simultaneous deadlines is required. Prior supervisory experience is preferred. There will be up to 15 travel. This position will be based out of Albuquerque, NM.
