Job Description
Manage all retail store functions to include selling of merchandise, training, staffing and directing the activities of the sales team. Honest, Reliable, Hard Worker, Eager to learn and looking for growth in a stable fast paced work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
Drive and create sales by delivering exceptional customer service and meeting sales goals.
Has complete operation liability to achieve sales goals weekly, monthly, quarterly.
Follow all policies and procedures at all times.
Process all inbound merchandise shipments, in-store price changes and store-to-store or store-to distribution center product transfers.
Provides effective training to staff in the areas of customer service, product knowledge, inventory control and merchandising while offering developmental opportunities.
Handles store loss prevention issues as well as shortage control.
Ensures staff maintains store presentation and supports brand consistency.
Follow opening and closing procedures as required.
Maintain a professional appearance consistent with company dress code.
Insure store remains clean and displays are up to date, neat and orderly.
Hire, train supervise and motivate staff.
Performs works of subordinates, as needed.
Prepare employee work schedules and provide proper store coverage at all times.
Administers the progressive steps of discipline to include verbal and written warnings. In addition, the Store Manager carries out employment terminations following approval of Corporate Office.
Direct compliance of store personnel with established company policies, procedures and guidelines including, but not limited to safekeeping of company inventory, and property.
Requirements
High School or equivalent plus 2 to 3 years of retail management.
Minimum of 2 years experience in management/leadership position
Minimum of 2 years experience in sales based atmosphere
Experience in selling Athletic Shoes a plus.
Experience managing retail stores with strong supervisory skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Extensive experience and the ability to lead the delivery of a high level of customer service.
Ability to work weekend, evenings, and holidays as needed.
Ability to operate a computer, as well as maneuver related software programs.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, climb a ladder and work with hands overhead.
Standing required for up to 90% of the work time.
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Honesty and loyalty.
