Job Description
Leads or directs overall database management. Excellent understanding of audit control, version management and reconciliation management.
Create, develop, and maintain process oriented databases to perform all tasks related to calculation and reporting for the HCC and Medicare Revenue Management program. Analyze detail of monthly Medicare Plan Payment files and data submitted to and from CMS. Create and maintain departmental policy and procedures.
Create ad hoc reports and completes special projects for upper management. Extensive understanding of the data warehouse and the ability to pull and transfer data to and from external vendors.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, investigative and research ability as evidenced by experience in the identification of requirements and the definition, evaluation and selection of appropriate solutions to business problems or opportunities.
Assists in the identification of criteria and effective measurement tools. Uses established methods, techniques and tools to document and maintain all deliverables created in accordance with department policies.
Ability to 1) discern patterns and correlate seemingly unrelated information, conceptualize and then translate ideas from the abstract to the concrete, and 2) work at a general, global, or high level, at a detail, specific, or low level, and build up or down between levels as it relates to HCC’s and the entire Medicare Revenue Management Program.
Ability to work in a team environment, be flexible and adaptable to changes in assignments and the work environment, work independently, manage time efficiently and multi-task effectively.
Provide analytical support for HCC related activities with client and other network providers.
Design tools for providers which support their risk adjustment programs, while ensuring compliance with coding rules. Provide analytical support for HCC audits for the auditors as required.
Generate, compile and monitor daily, weekly and monthly financial reporting as it relates to the HCC and Medicare Revenue Management program.
Serves as a resource/educator/trainer to other employees regarding systems, databases and revenue management processes and reporting.
Assists Manager or Director with priority business initiatives.
