Position Summary: This position is responsible for implementing the appropriate sales strategy to ensure company meets account penetration, retention and category growth. Primary Responsibilities:Coach, mentor and develop sales personnelSuccessfully recruit and train sales personnelAssist sales personnel on calls to new accountsPrepare proposals, presentations and pricingPrepare sales and activity reports, communication & follow up Assist in planning annual goals, appraisals, personnel issuesDistribute performance objectives to meet team objectives for sales, Gross Profit and Net Operating ProfitSkills and Experience:Basic:High school diploma or GED Minimum of 5 - 8 years successful experience in sales or sales management in a business-to-business selling environment managing a multi-tiered sales organizationResults oriented, self motivated and driven by both financial and career opportunitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills are essentialAll core skills and knowledge of the Business Development Associate or Business Development Manager roleAdvanced selling & negotiation skillsManagement skills (mentoring, coaching, counseling) for sales personnel optimizationHigh level of business acumenExcellent computer skills and technology competencePreferred:Bachelor degree
