* Provide specialized administrative assistance and support services in the preparation, control and maintenance of all contracts and grants.
* Assist with on-site monitoring of tribal management systems.
* Assist in single audit resolution.
* Research and preparation of various financial and statistical data.
* Review contract/grant proposals as submitted for approval by the Approving Official.
* Responsible for implementation and maintenance of contract/grant files.
* Establish and maintain the official Public Law 93-638 contract long.
* Responsible for implementation and maintenance of contract/grant financial records.
* Serves as the operator for telephone system, taking messages, addressing needs or questions and referring inquiries to appropriate staff.
* Greet and directs visitors to appropriate staff.
**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:** (OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards for Clerical and Administrative Support Positions, GS-xxxx).
**GS-5:** 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-4 grade level OR 4 years of successfully completed education above the high school level.
**SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:** performing administrative support work requiring general knowledge of P.L. 93-638 contracts/grants terminology, procedures, operations, and functions; and carrying out administrative support tasks, such as program files maintenance and disposition, and preparing reports and correspondence.
**COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:** Equivalent combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements at grades GS-5.
**GS-6:** 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 grade level.
**SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:** performing administrative work requiring working knowledge of P.L. 93-638 contracts/grants implementation and administration; and carrying out administrative support tasks, such as program files maintenance and disposition, and preparing reports and correspondence.
**GS-7:** 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-6 grade level.
**SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:** performing administrative work requiring substantial working knowledge of P.L. 93-638 contracts/grants implementation and administration, which involved providing technical assistance associated with the preparation and processing of self-determination contract/grants, proposals, modifications, amendments, and payment processing; and carrying out administrative support tasks, such as program files maintenance and disposition, and preparing reports and correspondence.
