Maintenance Manager - UH-1 & HH-60 in Albuquerque, New Mexico For Sale

The Maintenance Manager plans, directs, controls, and monitors all aircraft maintenance and support programs to ensure satisfactory completion of program objectives. Responsible for the supervision and oversight of all UH-1 & HH-60 maintenance operations. Establishes and modifies maintenance assignments to meet requirements of the customer. Reports to the Program Manager and acts as the Program Manager in their absence. Must be customer oriented. Allocates resources to meet ever-changing mission requirements. Ensures the maintenance organization is not overly tasked with augmentation duties outside maintenance functional areas. Plans and directs project execution; monitors and develops reports on progress.Duties:•Responsible to the Site Manager for and ensures strict adherence to all Department of Defense Publications, Contract Requirements, Manufacturer's Directives, Company Policies and Procedures, Program Quality Assurance Manual and the Industrial/Aviation Ground Safety affecting quality and personnel/ equipment safety issues. •Responsible for drafting, publishing and up-keep of Maintenance/Task Checklist and conformance to USAF and AS-xxxx standards. •Responsible for leadership and direct management of the people, processes and to ensure safe, expeditious maintenance of assigned aircraft. •Must be customer oriented.•Other duties as assignedEducation:•Must possess a Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a related field and possess 10 years aviation maintenance supervisory experience; or have an Associate's Degree in field and possess 15 years aviation maintenance experience; or have a high school diploma or GED and possess 20 years aviation maintenance experience. •Candidate must be a graduate of advanced USAF aviation maintenance management course. •Must have verifiable experience and a proven ability to determine requirements, personnel, repair parts, time allocation, and facility requirements necessary to perform maintenance actions performed at a complex multi-function aviation facility.•Must have an extensive working knowledge of USAF Rotary Wing maintenance operations •Minimum of 10 years verifiable supervisory experience required. •Must be able to handle complex administrative and technical details and perform duties as the Program Manager in their absence. Must possess effective communicative skills, both oral and written, to deal with corporate and customer concerns. •Must have a proven history of reliability and demonstrated initiative with proactive supervisory management skills as an aircraft mechanic and supervisor. •Will require a security clearance in the performance of duties.•Must be a US citizen •Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.•We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.
