The Director of Marketing Communications & PR will be an accomplished marketing professional who will be responsible for all aspects of communications for Honeywell s GA business unit. The key challenge for this executive will be to build upon the legacy that is in place, leverage the flexibility and speed inherent in the new business design, and reposition the company in the marketplace. While early momentum on product development, web/community marketing assets, new product additions, brand strategy and organizational structure is well established, the new incumbent will have the opportunity to tune the structure for optimum performance.
Working closely with members of senior management team, the Director, Marketing Communications and PR will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive communications and brand management plan in line with the division strategic plan, which addresses all relevant audiences including end-user & OEM customers, the distribution channel, the industry and employees. All applicable media channels will apply including print, press, video, trade show, point-of-sale, web and social networks.
Key responsibilities:
Maintain a comprehensive communications & PR plan to support the approved strategic plan of the business unit. Contribute to the creation of the strategic plan and individual product go-to-market plans.
Development and maintenance of the brand and brand standards.
Planning and execution of selected event and industry trade shows on a global basis.
Creative development of the web sites and social networking presence focused on customers, channel partners and the intranet.
Media planning and the development of effective creative programs including advertising, videos, web content, point of sale material, brochures and other marketing collateral.
Working with the trade press and industry analyst community to drive substantial industry exposure of new products.
In cooperation business unit leadership, support internal communications programs.
Recruitment, development, supervision and evaluation of a marketing communications team.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
10-years of continued experience in marketing including management.
U.S. citizen or United States Permanent Resident with a valid passport
Additional Qualifications:
Previous experience in creating and executing marketing plans including creating and managing budgets.
Prior marketing communications experience including experience working with creative teams, advertising and PR agencies.
Past experience in brand creation and enhancement.
A solid and successful track record in creating effective communications campaigns including advertising, web, social networking, point-of-sale, trade show and press.
Previous experience in marketing technology to the consumer markets.
Prior experience in recruiting and leading a high performance team.
MBA or equivalent.
Additional consideration will be provided for the candidate who is currently an active or licensed pilot or an aspiring pilot who has completed some pilot training.
