Job Summary: The Sales Director will provide direction and leadership to the Sales Team. The Sales Director will be responsible for establishing a high quality Sales Team through recruiting, developing, and retaining top-performing team members in order to achieve sales and production goals. The Sales Director will build a strong network by interacting with title organizations, attending customer events and developing personal relationships with key customers. This position will support the Arizona and New Mexico Region for Sales. Job Roles: Develop new strategies, tactics, and plans for future growth of revenue and customers Design programs/strategies to meet the sales revenue targets set within the given territories and accounts Provide timely reporting for forecasts, pipeline management and performance measurements Develop a Business Development and Sales strategy and plan for the assigned Region, aligning to Corporate, Direct Operations and Enterprise Sales strategies Leverage Stewart best practices to improve individual and team performance Develop annual plan for personal leadership development and ongoing sales skills development Recruit best team based on consistent Stewart standards adapted to regional requirements Coach team members on all aspects of their positions Conduct annual performance reviews for Sales team, as well as frequent territory reviews Schedule and sponsor training for team members as required (personal development as well as product/solution) Interface with Operational leadership and communicate Sales results, strategies, new opportunities and resource needs Plan territory coverage, aligning customers and opportunities to sales resources Collaborate with team members to build relationship/coverage strategies for key accounts Engage with strategic customers, align relationships between customer organization and Stewart Manage the sales team discipline for sales opportunities, pipeline, and contacts using Enterprise CRM Review sales associate strategies and provide input, direction and coaching Facilitate team communications and best practice sharing including regular and ad hoc team meetings with consistent agenda and rhythm
