I always say do the research and you will find much more expensive lighter shields, however if weight is issue for you do,we have a nice ballistic purse that may peak your interest, for the clients we have are mostly alpha males and would rather have a strong reliable shield rather than a flimsy core with a plastic handle made to just pass ballistics tests.
