Panic Disorder Treatment Study in Albuquerque, New Mexico For Sale

Behavioral Tech Research, Inc. is pleased to announce a new opportunity to learn and use Mastery of Anxiety and Panic treatment (MAP, also known as Panic Control Treatment). MAP is a brief, highly effective treatment for panic disorder, with 85% of clients panic free at the end of treatment. In collaboration with MAP treatment developer, Dr. David Barlow, we have developed a MAP computer-assisted therapy (MAP-CAT) program. MAP-CAT is a web-based, HIPAA compliant program that is designed to provide training and on-the-job support to clinicians learning MAP treatment.
Training: MAP-CAT allows clinicians to easily learn about MAP via media-rich training resources that can be accessed from anywhere at any time.
On-the-job support: MAP-CAT provides support when you most need it -- before, during, and after therapy sessions. The program guides clinicians and clients through each session of MAP in real-time so you can be confident that you are delivering MAP in the way it is intended.
We are seeking clinicians who are currently treating adults with panic disorder to participate in a research study to determine the effectiveness of this new MAP-CAT program. Our goal is to evaluate how using the MAP-CAT program compares to standard care for panic disorder. No prior knowledge of MAP is necessary!
Who can be in the study?
Answer these four questions to find out if you may be eligible for this study:
Are you a practicing mental health professional or in a psychotherapy training program?
Do you currently have one or more clients with panic disorder on your case load?
Have you previously received less than 12 hours of formal training in MAP?
Are you interested in utilizing an evidence-based therapy for the treatment of panic?
