Northrop Grumman Information Systems is seeking a Help Desk Support Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located in Kirtland AFB, NM . The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's contract supporting the 377 ABW Network Control Center. Candidate must be able to obtain a Security certification within 6 months (180 days) of hire. Roles and Responsibilities: Provide Tier 1 Help Desk Support for information systems for a diversified range of hardware and software technologies. Client-side support for, TCP/IP properties, Exchange clients, Network Users, McAfee Anti-Virus clients, and mobile wireless clients ( Blackberry, iPhone) Installation of software, troubleshooting hardware, and identify network problems and local connectivity issues, using Directory and Resource Administrator to maintain network user and e-mail accounts. Day-to-day phone support and assistance to Tier 1 Work Group Managers and onsite support for a pool of over 10,000 users at the Kirtland Air Force Base Network Control Center. All user requests are tracked through the use of the Remedy Action Request System. Provide support to Kirtland Air Force Base, perform account management duties, reviewing account requests to ensure correctness, adding, deleting, modifying and filing. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support, logs calls, contacts and assist appropriate Workgroup Manager to ensure prompt and courteous problem resolution. Utilize Remedy to track and monitor the problem. Incumbent uses, trouble-shoots, installs and upgrades Microsoft Windows 7, 8, Microsoft Office Suite xxxx-13, and Microsoft Outlook client for Microsoft Exchange.
