Job Description:
We have a need for a software tester with at least 4 years experience. The group is focused on stewarding repositories of corporate unstructured information : defining technical architectures, evolving the technology, managing, organizing, and making them more available and usable.
Responsibilities will include:
: Helping to design and implement a build and test infrastructure
: Creating and enforcing good engineering practices
: Continually improving test processes to provide improved quality assurance and reduction in testing cycle time
: Monitoring bug resolution and retesting efforts
Qualifications:
Required Skills
: Requires Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or relevant discipline, or equivalent experience (4 years).
: Experience working in a team:oriented, collaborative environment
: Experience with QA tools and techniques, bug tracking systems, test design, and execution (e.g., Eggplant, Test Anywhere, Selenium, or comparable tools)
: Solid understanding of test methodologies, test automation design, and iterative development
: Strong attention to detail and follow:through skills
: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
: Minimum 4 years' experience
Desired Skills
: Experience setting up a testing environment and documenting test plans
: Experience with testing functional and performance test script scenarios in support of integrated multi:platform systems
: Familiarity with formal System Development Methodologies and Project Management process
: Experience using Agile development methodologies
