Looking for part-time audio / video technicians to assist with pre-wire, installation and connection of a variety of audio video equipment for residential and sometimes commercial locations.
1. Must have minimum of 1 year of installation experience in one of the following areas: Home Theater, Home Automation, Distributed Audio/Video systems, Surveillance Systems, Phone Systems, Intercom Systems or Data networks.
2. Must have general knowledge of residential construction including: Framing/Structure, where and where not to drill holes for pre-wire, etc.
3 .Must have some knowledge of the following electronic components: Home Theater, Home Automation, Distributed Audio/Video, Surveillance Systems, Phone Systems, Intercom systems and Data networks.
4. Must have the ability to identify all the different types of cabling used in our profession as well as the standards for how cabling is terminated and placed in residential construction.
5. Must have your own reliable transportation
6. Must have own set of hand tools.
7. Must be able to interact directly with customers.
8. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
9. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs easily, work on a ladder over 10ft tall and work in confined spaces (i.e., attics and sub-floors)
10. Good written and verbal communication skills
11. Good references from former employers
