Virtualization Administrator/Engineer, Senior-xxxxxxxx Description Key Role: Determine, recommend, design, and implement effective and efficient virtual system architecture solutions for various programs to support business requirements. Follow approved life cycle methodologies, create design documents, and build capabilities that support on-demand access for dynamic systems. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and perform a variety of tasks related to the overall success of the program. Apply a wide degree of creativity and latitude. Qualifications Basic Qualifications -5+ years of experience with designing, architecting and administering UNIX or Windows enterprise servers and systems-2+ years of experience with virtualization supporting scalable servers or applications -Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance -BA or BS degree Additional Qualifications -Experience with VMware, Xen, or RHEV-Experience with implementing IA security policies and controls-Experience with working in a team -Knowledge of server administration and support, including SAN, NFS, backup and recovery, and system security -Ability to take the initiative and troubleshoot-Possession of excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to analyze and communicate technical issues, lead discussions, and influence decisions-Possession of excellent presentation skills and the ability to adapt messaging to the target audience Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
