After many years of selling and rebuilding other people s brands of such pumps I decided to private label a pump made to my very own specifications. Many features on my pump you see here are superior to competing pumps and I will explain what they are. Sorry for the long story, however if you read it you will learn a lot.

Metal Air piston = versus plastic. Our piston can be opened to access and change the spring and seal inside. Plastic pistons are factory sealed and can only be replaced. This adds a lot of extra expense down the road, as a future rebuild cost could get very high. I had to add $50 dollars to a rebuild if a piston needed replacement.
Aluminum Piston Sleeve = Okay so many of these pumps are using steel metal piston sleeves & as you know compressed air carries water in it. The water in the air will corrode this sleeve, tear the seals, and seize the piston. This sleeve corrosion renders the pump dead as the cost to replace (If it is even available as a part) is very high. Our pump has an aluminum sleeve with a proprietary anti corrosion coating. Although excessive water will ruin any pump our sleeve will last a very long time.
Metal air vent: Yup this is a bigger deal then you think. On the majority of these pumps they are shipped with a RED color plug that is sealed static and avoids oil leaking from the reservoir during shipment if the pump is tilted or handled upside down. There is an additional VENTED BLACK PLUG that needs to be installed after you remove the red plug prior to first use. I was shocked at how many shops I serviced had the shipping plug still installed after setup, and the vented plug well; was missing. As the pump pushes oil out it must inhale air into the reservoir. As the pump is released and the ram/piston retracts oil returns to the reservoir and needs to exhale air. These plastic plugs are constantly clogged, cross threaded, missing and ruin the performance of the pump.
We supply an aluminum burled plug head with a real brass plunger. Simple stupid; using the pump pull up the plunger, transporting pump, push the plunger down.
Cast aluminum reservoir: There are many brands that still use plastic reservoirs and housings for these style pumps. Well; we all know this is a foot pump so it used / placed on the floor. So it is dragged and dropped constantly. I lost count of how many reservoirs I changed and / or melted and repaired cracks on over the years. I also found tons of shops with their pumps in pails with Oil dry collecting the leaking oil and some idiots running a bone dry pump and ruining them.
We supply a cast aluminum reservoir that takes a beating! I mean this is a solid base. It resists corrosion and will not crack or split.
Warranty: (Here is the thin and skinny) ours is one full year against manufacturer defects. Well there is a company out there offering a Lifetime warranty (For whom I was a dealer) and the issue is it was never a manufacture defect, so basically no warranty. One year is the standard warranty for this industry. As a warranty and repair center dealer for a dozen well known brands I was in between the end user and the manufacturer / Importer etc. In reality over 95% of the failures / repairs I performed were customer fault and misuse. If I rebuilt a pump I offered 30 day warranty and the logic was if it works for 30 days it is good. Same with a new pump if it works at the get go and you take care of it will last for many years. My warranty is genuine in that I will cover factory duds, defects, for 1 year. To avoid placing defective pumps into customer s hands we bench test each pump at the factory .TWICE, and it is attached to an actual ram applying real time pressure in a press to the 10,000 pound capacity. Upon receipt of your pump it is your responsibility to fill out the warranty card include the serial number and mail it back to us.
Rebuild kits: I do have kits in stock for rebuilds down the road. My kits sell for a fourth of what competitors charge.
