It is recommended that Owner Operators live within 100 miles of a Clean Harbors or Safety-Kleen facility with the preference near a Clean Harbors Disposal facility. Owner Operators
The Owner Operator is responsible for the transportation of hazardous waste from a generator/facility to a Clean Harbors facility adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) and hazardous waste regulations. You will be responsible for ensuring that the proper loading and unloading of hazardous/non-hazardous waste adheres to weight and ensuring the proper utilization of company equipment. In addition you will comply with company policies & procedures, DOT, HAZMAT and RCRA requirements/regulations. Waste will be hauled via tankers and trucks with gear pumps are strongly preferred. Owner Operators must have a Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and have the ability to travel to Canada. A TWIC card is strongly preferred.
